Practice PTR (Pray, Thank, and Rejoice)

When pursuing your goals this year of looking ahead to the prize of the calling in Christ Jesus, it is extremely important to practice praying, rejoicing, and thanking. Resist the urge to wait until your goal is complete before rejoicing! You can rejoice in the smallest victories in this journey. In baseball, you celebrate base hits and strikeouts, you don’t wait until the end of the game before cheering. Rejoice in small and large victories. This year, thank God daily for whatever good or challenges you may face because they all are preparation for the prize of His calling you. Finally, never stop praying. Being in line with God will help you navigate the journey ahead with Him being the pilot, not the co-pilot. Practice PTR (Pray, Thank, and Rejoice) daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
